My Friday Five
What I’m most looking forward to this weekend:
- Seeing my mom. I only see her 3 or 4 times per year and it’s usually during holidays. It should be fun.
- Home-cooked food! Yummmmmm, my mom has already told me that she’s made several of my favorite foods including cabbage, ribs, short ribs of beef and potato salad.
- Sleeping late. I’m going to be off from work and I don’t have anywhere to go so I can sleep as late as I want.
- Seeing relatives. I don’t see my cousins very often but I know a few of them will make their way over to my moms house. It will be good to see them.
- Being spoiled for 3 days. Even though it’s Mother’s Day weekend, it will be more like a holiday for me.
It should be a fun time. Even though I will miss John since he’s going to see his mom. She lives in a different part of NJ than my mom does so we won’t see each other all weekend.
