My Friday Five
In honor of Independence Day my topic will be: My top 5 freedoms I cherish most
- The right to vote - It’s an election year and every vote will count. In some countries women still can’t vote.
- Freedom of speech - I can call someone a goober-head and not have to worry about getting thrown into jail.
- Freedom of religion - I can worship under whatever religous umbrella I choose. If I want, I can even change religions
- The right to work wherever I want - As long as I’m qualified, I can work wherever I want without respect to race, creed, religion or sex.
- The right to free speech - Whether it’s on my blog or just in general, I can say what I want when I want. Here we are in 2008 and some people still don’t have that right!
