It is unbelievably cold
It is freezing outside, literally! Right now the temperature is -7 with a windchill of -10. By the time I get off of work, it will be around 5 degrees for the temperature. With the windgusts of up to 15 miles per hour, it will feel like -15. Aarrrrrgh. I have on 2 shirts and 2 pairs of socks and I’m still cold.
I feel bad for the animals that are outside. You know that old saying “it’s not fit for man or beast”? That is so true for the next couple of days. It’s supposed to be cold like this tomorrow as well. I’m sure plants and flowers will freeze as well. Things like Elm trees should be fine, but everything else is in trouble. The temperature is supposed to moderate by Monday. The temperatures will be in the 20’s.
