It’s finals time and I have to decide when to take my exam. I only have an exam in my sociology class. My literature class had a mid-term but no final, which is fine by me. My theory class holds exams in the testing center not in class. So it’s really up to me which day I want to go and take the exam.
As long as I get it in by Friday I should be fine.
Now I just have to figure out when I want to take my final exam for my theory class. It’s the hardest class I’ve ever had and I really want to do well on the final. I want to make sure that I’m really ready for the exam before I try to take it. That means little to no computer time. I can’t afford to sit and play on the computer looking for things like a outdoor lighting sale, shoes or anything else that I may be able to find. It also means no email and no blogging. At least for a few days anyway.
At least I’ll still be able to get on the internet at work. I know you didn’t think I was giving it up cold turkey. Perish the thought!
It’s been pretty bad. All I’ve done all week is sleep. Every day after work, I’ve come home and gone to bed. Most nights I’ve even slept all night which is an oddity for me. I usually wake up 2 or 3 times per night. But this week I’ve just been exhausted. I haven’t even been shopping. I looked through the sales ads and I see things like dog supplies, soda and bread are all on sale. I also need more fresh fruit, milk and breakfast food.
I hope next week is better.
Flat Belly
A little boy walks into his parents bedroom and sees his mom on top of his dad bouncing up and down, the mom sees her son and gets up, she quickly gets dressed because she was worried about what her has seen, so she goes to look for him, she finds him, her son asks what were you and dad doing? and the mother replies well you know that your dad has a big tummy and sometimes I have to get on top of it and flatten it, and the boy says, well your wasting your time, and the mom asks, why? and the boy replies, when you go shopping, the lady next door comes over and blows it right back up.
I love this time of year. Not only is it the start of baseball season, but it’s time for the baseball preview. Unfortunately, it only lasts for about 10 days. On the plus side, I can watch multiple games in one day. It would be great to subscribe to the plan, but it’s over $150. I can’t afford that right now. If I actually went to multiple games it would be a great money saver. I can really see why people invest in the package.
I’ll just be happy watching the free preview. Now if I could only get some time off from work to watch more games, I woud be in heaven.
I never thought I would get addicted to reality shows. I really don’t like most of them. But for some reason I watch almost every show on VH1 right now. Well except the one about the video chicks. I’ve never even watched one episode of that and I don’t plan on it. I love the Bret Michaels’ show. It was crazy for a while with all of those girls in that one rv, winnebago, bus or whatever it is. But that show is almost over for the season. Next week is the finale so I have to replace it.
Now I have to decide if I want to watch the challenge show or the dating show.
This is the time of year that I hate almost as much as winter. The temperature keeps fluctuating by 10 degrees or more every day. Then the temps level out for a day or two. Only to start the cycle all over again. It just amazes me to watch everyone take their coats off and wear shorts at the first nice day. I may wear a light jacket, but I stay covered up. We’re not out of the woods yet.
But I sure will be glad when that day comes and it’s 70 or better every day.
I didn’t watch one single solitary game yesterday. And I totally missed the Phillies since they played on Sunday. The only reason I realized that the season had started was because I turned on a sports channel. I saw the tickers scroll across the bottom and then I saw one game that they were showing late at night.
I’m kinda bummed but not really since I saw that both of my teams lost. But hey, at least the Pirates won! It’s a good way for them to start the season. I hope they keep it up and have a winning season. A girl can dream, can’t she?
I’m watching a reality show right now and a lot of the cast members are wearing a certain designers shirt. It’s really funny because I had only heard of this designer in passing before. But on 2 different reality shows this year, I’ve seen his shirts.
It’s great advertising for this designer. And a darn smart move!
I just feel like such a slacker right now. I don’t want to do anything at all, especially this weekend. I’m not going to do any school work at all. I have a book to finish reading that I’m putting off until Monday or Tuesday. I do have to go out food shopping tomorrow but that’s about it. I may go to several stores because I want to look for some new shoes.
The rest of tomorrow and all day Sunday I plan on spending in front of the boob tube. I don’t care if it’s CSI, reality shows or a informercial about a new Colonix program, I’ll watch it. If I totally can’t find anything that I like, I’ll watch one of my old dvds of the Matrix.
And I don’t feel bad about slacking at all!
