Insane Random Ramblings

I have one that’s supposed to be a pretty good brand. But it has issues that I don’t like. First the back-light stays on too long which drains the battery. The battery only takes 2 hours to fully charge but then the charge is only good for about 4 hours. If I listen to my player at work all day, it’s dead by the time I go home.

I guess I shouldn’t complain too much since I won it in a contest. You know how those soda companies always have caps to enter codes to win and blah blah blah? Well I wasn’t expecting anything and I actually won. It just showed up on my doorstep one day which was pretty cool.

There’s no need for me to get a memory upgrade for it because don’t really think you can. I  think you have to upgrade to the next size which is 16GB. Oh well, as long as it works I’ll be happy.

I just read a article on UrbanRadio.com. I can’t believe that Sheridan Broadcasting sold the station. Apparently there was a big to-do last Friday on Facebook. Since I’m not on Facebook yet, I missed it. I’m always saying that Pittsburgh lacks diversity and now there won’t even be a urban station in the area.

It’s things like this that makes my decision to move a whole lot easier.

I spent over 2 hours charging that thing last week. I takes that long for it to fully charge. I used it twice for less than an hour each time. When I went to use it today, the thing was totally dead. I couldn’t believe it. It’s not a cheap player either which is why I’m so annoyed. I mean I could have used that money for something else. The shoes I want, baby bedding for my friend that just had a baby, new towels or a bunch of other stuff.

I’ll use it once more. If it doesn’t hold a charge this time, I’ll just go back to my old standby. My ipod never lets me down.

I am so sleepy today. I had to download music onto my mp3 player because today is my day to play a song for my Literature class. I got a free mp3 player that sucks. The drivers would not download to my computer. After I went on to the company’s website, I noticed that other people had trouble downloading the drivers as well.

So I decided to use my other mp3 player. Those drivers took over 2 hours to download and install on my computer. It was mostly the installation that took so long. Then I couldn’t get the device to sync with my computer. I finally went to sleep until after 1am with everything only half-done.

I woke up at 5am (instead of my usual 6:30) and finished everything. Afterwards I couldn’t go back to sleep so I’ve been up ever since. I have class tonight so I won’t get home until after 9pm.

This is gonna be one long day!

I stayed up late last night watching tv as usual. I think I got less than 3 hours of sleep but I also took a 1 hour nap when I first got home from work. I doubt if I’m actually getting 4 hours of sleep per day. The only thing that helps me get through the day is the radio.

We’re only able to stream 1 radio station with our internet connection at work. Luckily it’s a station that I like anyway. They play all kinds of music from pop to dance to hip hop and r&b. You can hear anything on that station. My favorite thing about the station is that they play skits from the morning show all day long. So even though I miss them in the morning, I can still hear them throughout the day.

If it wasn’t for streaming music, I would literally go crazy.

You know how there are caps on the lids of Pepsi for that Pepsi Stuff contest? They want you to download songs or save up for sweepstakes? Well I never downloaded the music, I always entered the sweepstakes and last week I won a mp3 player. It’s pretty nice too. The crazy thing is now I have a 2 mp3 players and I don’t have any music downloaded onto my hard drive for them.

My ipod has been acting up so it’s nice to know that I have a backup. Not that I have any music to put on it though. I need to gather up my cd’s to see which tracks I want to rip onto my hard drive. I do need to make sure I back them up though. I already had my hard drive crash once. I don’t want to take the time to save all of my favorite music and then lose it. Been there done that.

I listen to the radio but right now they’re playing garbage. It’s supposed to be a top ten countdown but I don’t like most of the songs. I figure if I bring my own music to listen to I’ll be much better off. Then I can just listen to music. I won’t have to listen to commercials encouraging me to find the best mover NYC has to offer when that’s not something that I’m interested in.

Now I just have to find some good cds to bring with me.

I use a ipod right now. But the songs don’t play on it. At first I thought it was the headphones so I got new ones. Then I noticed that most of the songs either drag or you can only hear the music but the lyrics are faded out. It’s really weird. I don’t even know why it’s happening.

I have a mp3 player that I haven’t downloaded music onto yet. My first excuse was that the player takes a regular AAA battery, which I didn’t have. I finally got some batteries and now I need music. I have a bunch of cd’s that I’ll go through and download those first. Then I’ll go and buy songs online from somewhere.

My job is so boring. Nobody talks to each other and all you hear is the clicking of keyboards all day long. I usually stream music through the internet but the connection has been bad for the past few days. I have 2 MP3 players at home but one needs new headphones. The other I have to totally set up and put music on.

I need to do that today once I get home. Being bored at work is terrible. At least if I listen to music, it makes the day seem to go by faster.

If I don’t get it soon, the radio will drive me crazy! For the past 2 days there has been a glitch with the local radio station and I haven’t been able to stream the music. Imagine sitting in a boring office listening to your coworkers chit-chatting. Yuck. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to listen to what my coworkers have to say.

I usually use the radio to drown them out. The past 2 days have been torture. At least I’ll be able to have my own music soon. I just hope it hurries up and gets here.
